Mimi Cabell, Assistant Professor in RISD's department of Experimental and Foundation Studies, examines artists' physical and gestural movement in creating images. She uses work in the exhibit, Lines of Thought, to explore research questions around the potential of everyday actions, limitations of language, and performance in art.
