Down the left side of the dish: "8 CHASED LINES 1/32" WIDE" to left of the finial, "16 LINES / 1/32" WIDE" by the lid, "16 LINES / 1/32" WIDE" by the body, "8 LINES 1/32" WIDE" by the ball on the shaft, "16 LINES / 1/32" WIDE" by the base. Down the right side of the dish, "BALL 5/32" / BALL 5/8" / TURN" beside the finial, "3" 025" by the lid, "WIRE 3X4 / WIRE 3X6" by the rims, "3 1/4 025" beside the bowl, "BALL 5/8" beside the shaft's ball, "IVORY / TURN" by the shaft, "1 1/4 028 1/2 / WIRE 4x5" by the base.
