Demo & Discourse
About
Part of Locally Made's One Room.
In Demo & Discourse, artists, designers, and experts from across disciplines and mediums share examples of their work and talk about process.
I will show how my work moves from thinking to reading to drawing to cutting paper to printing to projecting to publishing and back again, tracing several recent works on this trajectory, such as book-with-a-soundtrack Drowning On Dry Land and silkscreened toy theater One Touch Of Nature Makes the Whole World Kin. I will demonstrate my cutting, scratching and projecting techniques and discussing their evolution. — Erik Ruin
