This Japanese-American drama/science-fiction film, Happyend (2024, run time: 1 hour + 53 minutes), focuses on high school students in a near-future Tokyo where the threat of a catastrophic earthquake looms. The film premiered at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. Following the screening the director, Neo Sora, along with the composer, Lia Ouyang Rusli, discuss the film following the screening.
