Mysteries from Quikuchá
About
Argentinian artist hernán darío jourdan will lead a conversational session about the creation of Quikuchá—a video performance piece that explores migration from human to non-human perspectives, taking place on Narragansett waters and beyond. Adjusting to crisis and human-led changes in the environment, the creative process of Quikuchá included creating a space where imaginations draw alternative models for ways of being, engaging testimonial documentation, and eco-fiction through different artistic disciplines.
Free. Registration requested.
Following this program, a public performance of Quikuchá will take place on Thursday, August 24 at 7:30 pm at India Point Park's Community Boating Center, 109 Portugal Pkwy, Providence, RI. Click here to learn more. (The original performance date of 8/10 was postponed due to inclement weather.)
