Museum Director John W. Smith and the Museum's curators invite visitors to view a new group of gifts and purchases for the collection. Objects include new watercolors by RISD alumna Kara Walker (MFA 1994, Painting/Printmaking), a contemporary painting by Scottish artist Peter Doig, a kimono ensemble from the spring/summer 1995 Yohji Yamamoto runway collection, and a 19th-century English armchair, among many others. Curators will be available to answer questions. Free with Museum admission.
