Stephen Wing is the Manager of Preparation and Installation at the RISD Museum. He works collaboratively with museum staff and visiting artists, designers and curators to develop, design, plan and implement temporary exhibitions and permanent collection displays.
Laura Ostrander began working as an Exhibitions Assistant at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Michigan almost 20 years ago. Soon after, she became a freelance scenic carpenter for Boston theatres, honing an appreciation for working in the arts. Laura brought this appreciation to the Installation Department at the RISD Museum and continues to learn from the ideas and challenges that thrive within this environment.
Michael Owen is a RISD alum, painter, and amateur boat-builder. He has worked at the RISD Museum for 12 years as an installer/preparator. In addition to installation duties, Michael is responsible for gallery lighting in the Museum.
Kris Samuelson has been working in the installation department at RISD Museum of Art for 7 years. Her background is in woodworking, cabinetmaking, historic restoration, painting and general construction.
